Thanks guys for the recap ... here's hoping the summer is kind to the squad, allowing some rest and rejuvenation, especially for those with any Euro commitments. Here's also praying that we don't lose any critical playing staff and are able to find a few diamonds in the rough that suit our budget during the break. I felt the back end of the season really fell somewhat off a cliff, and we were fortunate that we had the points banked earlier in the campaign. So looking forward to August, and again thanks to all at FFC for another season of hard work and endeavour, for keeping us in the topflight and at times serving up some very entertaining fare at the Cottage ..... We haven't looked that interested for the past few games. I could just about have lived with 3 nil in the Man City game, but 4 nil seemed like an massacre. We have dropped points against some very poor teams this season ,so when we get slaughtered by the likes of Man City or Liverpool at home the missed opportunities against lesser teams come back to haunt us with a vengeance. I expect a very hard game at Luton who have nothing but pride to play for. I hope I am wrong.

Tottenham lost. But the annoying thing is that despite Tottenham actually wanting to lose, they still only lost by 2 goals, yet we lost by 4 goals when we didn't want to lose.

As a City fan just like to say Fulham and West Ham are my favourite London clubs. Great fan base, nice ground, excellent Manager and good times ahead. Best of luck.

As a city fan. I think the problem is when city, two thirds into the game can bring on third choice players that would be starters in most prem teams. It's not a huge squad but its a great one

Interesting, balanced conversation. However, all the talk of Man City's "boring dominance" is quite annoying. When City have won the league, it has mostly been by one or two points. Against Man Utd in 2012, they won on goal difference. They have been runaway winners only once, winning by 19 points. But Liverpool then won by 18 points. I don't recall any complaints about that. This season, Arsenal were at the top of the table for longer than anyone else. Until Arsenal and Liverpool lost on April 14th, they were both in the running. All Arsenal had to do was win every game, and they were guaranteed to be champions. Now, City are in that position. They could still slip up. I don't consider it dominance when the title is decided on the last or next to last day of the season. That is evidence of great talent combined with sheer hard work and a never-say-die attitude. City simply never give up.

That was Manchester City, no one can blame Fulham. Last game of a ok season, both not really playing for anything. An honest game from Fulham, a nice double over already relegated Luton and we end on a high.

Never expected to get anything v City but it has to be said that since securing survival we have been poor. Of course it is fantastic to stay up but surely our ambition as a club should be greater? Everton are perceived to have had a very poor season yet without their points deduction they would finish above us. I question the proffesionalism of some of the players. Without doubt a percentage of them have been on the beach for some games now. I really rate Silva and sadly I think we'll lose him after next season. He is better than managing a club that's ambition is survival.
